Tanshi is an interactive language-learning app that helps preserve and teach Indigenous languages. As the UX designer, I focused on creating an intuitive, engaging experience to make learning accessible and effective.
The goal of Tanshi is to support Indigenous language revitalization through technology. The app provides young learners with interactive lessons, storytelling, and pronunciation guides.
Many Indigenous languages are at risk of disappearing. Traditional teaching methods often struggle to engage young learners, and access to language resources is limited. This project aims to bridge that gap through a user-friendly digital experience.
The project is still in development, with continuous refinements based on user testing and feedback. The design emphasizes accessibility, engagement, and cultural authenticity to ensure a meaningful learning experience.
